A new day: Went and talked with another vet in the area, and they have agreed to take our remaining 6 cats as patients. I went to the old vet and got the carrier we left behind Friday in our anger and frustration. Also, got the records of all the cats. I looked them over when I got home and nothing was on there for the last day Mr. Fuzz spent with them. I did get some vindication though, when one of the other vets, whom I do like, came out to talk with me and said she (the new vet) had not given him the proper treatment and he didn't understand why she changed treatment mid stream. He did say yes, it was a treatment that could have been used when the attacks first started, but at the point he was at the shots were all that were going to help. I don't know what I'll do with that information, but at least I know I wasn't wrong in my thoughts that her actions killed our cat. I am still not believing he is gone. It's funny, because I have lost many cats, over the years, but none quite like Mr. Fuzz. He was almost human in his actions and emotions that it was scary at times. He watched over the other cats and kept them in line. He thought nothing of batting one of them down if they got too rough. The other cats are trying to fill the void. Percy, the persian, who never got in my bed now comes every night and puts his face on mine and purrs. Heidi will come and sit on my lap, but she can't sit still the way Mr. Fuzz did ... and the two kittens (now almost cats! lay on my feet at night), but still it isn't the same without Mr. Fuzz. So, we will start over with a new vet and hope this one works out better. I just don't want to ever see that woman again or I may be forced to rip her face to shreds.
